As we enter an uncertain time, we are going to be fluid with our Return To Play Protocols. Decisions made today may not be the same as tomorrow. Please refer back to this document often. We have used many sources in coming up with our Return To Play recommendations, including but not limited to local high school athletic association guidelines, the Aspen Institutethe Play Sports Coalitionthe Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and NFL FLAG recommendations.

We are excited to get back on the field!  We are serious about safety and have taken several steps to ensure that we return to play safely.  Please read through the guidelines below to familiarize yourself with our new policies.

These are general guidelines for all of our leagues to follow.  Each state and/or county may have different mandates in place regarding youth sports that we will follow in addition to these as needed.

Prior to arriving at the fields:

  • Perform a health assessment of yourself and your participants.  If anyone has a fever of 100.3 and above, cough, sore throat or is not feeling well, please keep them home.  If anyone has come in contact with anyone who is experiencing these symptoms, please keep them home.

  • Limit the number of spectators to no more than 1-2 per player.

  • Wash or sanitize hands before arriving to the fields.

  • Wait in your car until your team's practice/game is scheduled to begin.  Please do not congregate in groups in the parking lot or around the fields.

  • Have your child bring his/her own labeled water bottle and avoid sharing with others.

At the fields:

  • A field layout will be provided to all families showing designated areas for each team for games and practice.

  • Spectators are asked to adhere to 6-foot social distancing practices while at the fields and masks are recommended

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided at the fields

  • Food/gum/sunflower seeds will not be allowed on the fields.

  • If a player is wearing a mouth guard, they should avoid touching their mouth guard as much as possible and sanitize hands after.  Mouth guards are required.

  • Avoid high fives, celebratory hugs, and other forms of contact between players, coaches & spectators

  • Staff, Officials, players and spectators will be required to wear masks as outlined by the state and facility.

After the game:

  • Players should refrain from high fives, handshake lines, and other physical contact with teammates, opposing players, coaches, officials, and fans. A “round of applause” can be used following the game in lieu of the handshake line.

  • We are discouraging the team snack to avoid additional contact.

  • Please exit the fields as soon as possible after your game is complete and avoid congregating in groups near the fields or in the parking lot.

Additional Notes

  • If you have questions or concerns reach out to the operations coordinator for your league.

  • If your participant, or anyone who attends games, tests positive for Covid-19 please reach out to your operations coordinator to make them aware.

  • If someone in the league lets us know they have tested positive, we will ask that they stay home for 2 weeks before returning to the field.  We will also inform the league of the case by email.
